The festival is proud to present the German tenor Christoph Prégardien and piano player Ulrich Eisenlohr with a Lieder recital, performing in Harpa, Norðurljós hall, on May 27th.

Christoph Prégardien is one of the most important artists in the world of classical music, not only because of his accomplishments as a lyric tenor, but also due to his work as a pedagogue, enthusiastic chamber musician, and creator of new and exciting projects.

The pianist Ulrich Eisenlohr is the artistic leader of Naxos Deutsche Schubert Lied Edition. Specialising in the areas of song accompaniment and chamber music, he began an extensive concert career with numerous instrumental and vocal partners in Europe, America and Japan.

Pregardien & Eisenlohr will in addition to the recital give Master Classes for pairs of singers and pianists on May 29th from 10-18 in Harpa, Kaldalón Hall.
